Ellie Rohlck

Ellie Rohlck began teaching the 6th-8th grade bands at North Middle School in the Fall of 2017. Prior to teaching in Harrisburg, Ms. Rohlck taught 5-12 band and choir in Baxter, IA; 6-8 band at Brandon Valley Middle School in Brandon, SD; and 5-12 band at Tripp-Delmont School in Tripp, SD.

Ms. Rohlck grew up in Brandon, SD, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and All-Grades Education from Augustana University. In the summer of 2015, she completed her Master of Arts degree in Band Conducting from the American Band College of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. In addition to her collegiate experiences, she marched with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps for 4 years, as well as toured Japan with Odyssey, an all-female brass and percussion stage show, similar to Blast!

Ms. Rohlck’s professional affiliations include: NAfME: The National Association for Music Education, South Dakota Bandmasters, South Dakota Music Educators Association, and the National Education Association. Ms. Rohlck lives in Sioux Falls with her husband, Seth.
